> Hot yoga |
Hot Yoga is a series of yoga postures and breathing exercises designed to cleanse every part of the body and provide a complete mind/body workout. Heat plays a very important role in the benefits received from this practice. The room is heated, which warms and relaxes the entire body, promoting relaxation and the release of toxins. Practicing yoga in the heat leads to a deeper stretch and helps avoid injuries. All levels of students will benefit from postures that tone muscle, improve circulation, and strengthen the immune system. Meditation, chanting and pranayama may also be incorporated into the class. Drink lots of water prior to class, bring a small towel and an open mind and be prepared to sweat! |
