Boy, it's been a while. I'm sorry for not updating you in some time. I've been head down in the school acupuncture clinic and finishing my program. I have so much great news to report. I hope you will stick with me here.

Let's start with: I DID IT ! ! ! ! I graduated from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine with honors on January 21st. It was quite an achievement given the complicated nature of the last few years. As I am sure with most of you, it required a lot of new learning and the ability to pivot to continue to move forward in the direction of my dreams and goals. And, I'm so grateful to have managed to make it through. I have also successfully passed 2 of the 3 board exams for licensing. My final exam is scheduled for March 25th, and I am confident I will pass that. I will then just need to submit documentation to get my official license to practice acupuncture to the Ohio Medical Board. It should only take a small turn around for my official paper, and I will be ready to go! Yahoo!!

Through Acupuncture, Yoga, Massage and the new product line we will be offering (more on that below), Inhale is making a move to become the area's leader in holistic wellness services. To reflect this growth in mission and direction, Inhale is getting a little face lift. The new name, look and feel of Inhale reflects the joining together of the yogic history and tradition with the Chinese Medicine history and traditions. You may have already seen this on social media, but just in case, here's the new name and branding for Inhale.

NEW INTEGRATIVE NAME: Inhale Wellness Studio This name better includes what we are up to at Inhale. We are still a relationship-based and client centered practice. With the addition of acupuncture, cupping and Chinese massage, however, Inhale is no longer just a yoga studio. WE ARE A HOLISTIC WELLNESS STUDIO. We will continue to offer yoga as private sessions and may in the future open to group classes again. For now, Inhale will focus on one-on-one appointment-only work through yoga & massage and acupuncture (starting early April). This one-on-one work will allow for personalized attention dedicated to just your needs for quicker healing, recovery and wellness. Advanced scheduling is open for both. See below for more about hours, pricing and what you need to know to plan and prepare. It is our hope to grow a team of providers to help bring this mission into all it is pulsing to become.

NEW LOGO: This new logo is a fresh look that encompasses both the history and artistic beauty of yoga through the outer mandala, as well as the expanded focus in Chinese medicine through the yin yang symbol at the center. This logo captures the look and feel of the new Inhale Wellness Studio. As we continue to draw from our roots in Ayurveda and Yogic philosophy, we now expand with more to offer through Chinese Medicine. We want our logo to reflect the balance and harmony of both traditions. NEW HOURS: Inhale is still a by appointment only operation. New hours are going to be Wednesdays 10-5:30, Thursdays 1-5:30 and Fridays 10-3. Wednesday appt times are: 10, 11:30, 1:00, 2:30, 4:00 and 5:30. Thursday appt times are: 1:00, 2:30, 4:00 and 5:30. Friday times are 10, 11:30, 1:00, and 2:30. Appointment offerings begin again starting March 30 with massage, cupping and private yoga. I'm targeting April 13th for the addition of acupuncture. I'm taking bookings now for March 30 and 31, April 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15 and further into April as these fill up. Keep in mind that any acu booking may need to be rescheduled if my licensing doesn't come through by April 13th, but I don't anticipate that happening. Please feel free to call or text 740.350.5654 to book an appointment or respond to this email. As I am currently the only one on the Inhale schedule, the availability is limited. However, as the team grows, expect the schedule to also grow to include more availability. NEW PRODUCTS: Along with my Chakra Collection Essential Oil line, I will begin offering a new product line of:

  • liquid collagen for joint, skin, nail and hair health (this has been a huge help with my joint pain. It's what sold me on this product line)

  • trebiotics for pre, pro and post biotic gut health

  • phyto nutrient rich powders to up level the amazing food benefits of green veggies and fruits, red veggies and fruits, and gold anti-inflammatory foods. These fantastic fermented powders can be added to smoothies, water and soups. I will be creating a recipe collection to share and help you get more out of these.

But have a plan in the works for that going forward. That may not come along until the end of the year. What does this all mean for you?? Well, it means you have a one-stop space for all your Natural Medicine needs from a trusted organization and provider that has been looking after this community's health for over 18 years. As I continue to grow, this community reaps the benefits. With my licensing as an Acupuncturist, I will have a medical provider number. Though I will not be set up to take insurance for services, I believe I will be able to provide a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Additionally, any appointments where you will need to miss work, I will be able to write you a note for your employer. While not all insurances offer coverage for acupuncture, cupping or yoga therapeutic services, some may. So, you'll want to check with your providers to learn more. I am in the process of taking seminars and learning just how this will all work so that I can be able to offer that to you going forward. This is just one more way we can help employers understand that this type of work is not a luxury, but a medical service for preventative wellness. Preventative wellness makes us all better humans!! My whole mission with Inhale has always been to use the skills and knowledge I have to provide opportunity for greater health and wellness for those who come to me. That mission continues, and expands as I now have even more tools to help. I'm so excited to be taking this next step with Inhale and this wonderful community. I'm always here to help. Even if what I have to offer isn't right for you, I probably know someone who is a good fit or would happily help you find someone that is. I cannot wait to build another team to take the Inhale mission to the next level with me. Please feel free to write back and share your thoughts, ask questions or schedule appointments. I am here for YOU!
